As every year, the harvest has come to an end and it is time for an initial assessment. In 2016, fine weather accompanied us throughout the harvest; conditions changed only on the day after the work was completed.

After a very rainy 2014 and an exceptionally hot 2015, the 2016 season provided ideal conditions for our vineyards, achieving an excellent balance between quality and quantity.

The first analyses point to an outstanding vintage. The first white wines will be ready soon, and we will keep you updated so that you can visit the winery, taste them and share your impressions.

On Friday 10 July 2015, we took part in the traditional Festa dell’Agola in Castelletto di Brenzone, offering visitors the opportunity to taste and purchase our wines.

On Saturday 25 April and Friday 1 May 2015, we welcomed visitors to our wine shop in Albarè di Costermano to present the 2014 vintage.

The tasting included “El Vin dei Nonni” 2014, “Albarelle” 2014 and Corvina Rosato 2014.

Our family farm includes a vineyard planted with mixed white grape varieties, predominantly Müller-Thurgau. It was the pride of our grandfathers, Pietro and Alessio. On the tenth anniversary of the opening of our wine shop in Albarè di Costermano, we decided to honour their memory with this new label.

“El Vin dei Nonni” has a golden-yellow colour and a gently spicy aroma that reflects the aromatic character of the grapes. It pairs well with mature cheeses, fish dishes and spicy food.

Serve at 8–10 °C. Alcohol content: 12%.
