Pinot Nero rafined in barrique is very particular wine and very vintage. To produce this wine, our high-density vineyards undergo crop thinning so that only the best bunches are pressed and destemmed. The grapes are placed in steel vats where they ferment, with automatic remontages in order to obtain more poliphenols and colouring substances. Malolactic fermention follows. The wine is afterwards racked to barriques where it ages for another 5-6 months. Fining in bottle for 4-5 months. Deep ruby red with garnet hues, Pinot Nero is a vigorous and at the same time smooth fruity wine with intense aromas of red fruits and vanilla; it has a full, rich, well-balanced body, with a long finish. Ideal with speciality first course dishes, roast or grilled red meat venison and game. To be served at 20-22°C. Alcoholic content 13%.
